It's your premier Dial-A-Ride, ADA and Medical Assistance service provider for both Scott and Carver counties. SmartLink Transit can get you anywhere in the seven county metro area. In some cases, you may need to transfter to other transportation provider.
We currently offer Dial-A-Ride, ADA, Medical Assistance and Fixed Routes. You can get information about all of the following by visiting the links to the left. The Brochure and Maps section will give you information on Dial-A-Ride and Fixed Routes while the Medical Assistance and ADA can be found in the Rider Resources section.
SmartLink Transit will consider all shared ride requests for group outings, based on availability, during regular service. Please contact Customer Service at 952-496-8341 to discuss your transportation needs.
Customer Service is available from 7:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday. SmartLink Transit buses operate Monday through Friday from 5:30AM to 7:00PM.
SmartLink Transit is not available on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. On New Years Day (observed), Memorial Day, Independance Day (observed) and Labor Day, standing orders are canceled unless the passenger has contacted us and requested their regular ride.
You do need a reservation to use the Dail-A-Ride transportation system. To set up that reservation, simply call one of our Customer Service Agents at 952-496-8341. We will take your ride request up to 7 days in advance. The earlier you call, the better the chance of availability.
Fares are based on distance (please visit the Fares section link on the left of this screen.) The Customer Service Agent will tell you what the fare is when you make your reservation. We ask that you pay the bus driver's when you get on the bus and remember, Driver's cannot make change so please bring the correct amount of your fare with you.
